The following maps present wind roses from selected sites around Australia. For convenience they have been grouped according to the season of the year characteristic of temperate Australia.

Wind roses for selected individual locations are also available on this web site. Information about maximum wind gusts, as well as mean 9am and 3pm wind speeds, is provided in the Tables of Climatic Averages for each available site. Additional data can be obtained by Contacting the Bureau.
